Plastering

The process of covering rough walls and uneven surfaces in the construction of houses and other structures is called plastering. This is done with a plastic material, called plaster. This is a mixture of lime or cement concrete and sand along with the required quantity of water.

Rendering

The main function of rendering is to coat exterior surfaces of buildings and contains a higher percentage of cement within its composition. Rendering is applied to make the outside façade of buildings more visually but also provides waterproofing and fireproofing efficiencies.

With solutions suitable for indoor and outdoor use on both porous and non-porous areas, the range is formulated to meet the most demanding projects and includes:

  • PVA: a highly effective building adhesive, primer, sealer, bonding agent and dustproofer.
  • Waterproof PVA: formulated to be resistant to water and high humidity
  • Stabilising Primer: to prime and stabilise difficult surfaces, and provide an excellent key for the application of plaster or render

All products in the Bostik plastering and rendering range are designed to be easy to apply and give excellent adhesion for a longer lasting finish.
